Blues on Blues Kind of Day

There is nothing more exciting to me than creating an outfit out of basics. I really find people do not stress the importance of basics. A good pair of jeans, a white tank top and a blazer can be some of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe.

I went into the office the other day and wanted to have a sophisticated yet casual look. Enter, the blazer and blue jean combo.

I’ve had this blue linen blazer from Zara for years and is the perfect summer blazer. It’s light and airy and the color goes with everything. I paired it with a white tank from Old Navy. Pro Tip - Old Navy has some great basics, you just have to be descerning with what you buy. A light wash jean from Madewell and some sneakers to top it off. I toped the look off with a pair of gold hoops and some delicate rings and there we go, ready to hit the office in fashionable stride!
